The Ogun Suite

This suite was curated to honor the Angel Ogun .

Ogun is a Yoruba orisha/angel who is associated with iron, war, and labor. The symbolism behind the crafting of this unit to honor the traits exhibited by this aspect of God is that I had to harness the power of authority over my well being to get back this unit which the previous tenant was formerly squatting in. I had to engage in a battle to win back this home. God provided me with the courage to fight this battle fiercely and reminded me of my duty to share African spiritual concepts with the world using design.

Ma’at Villas is a unique small gated estate tucked away in a quiet area next to beautiful Raintree Subdivisions; located minutes from prominent attractions such as the University of South Florida, the Museum of Science and Industry, the USF Sundome and Botanical Gardens. The community is designed based on Per Ankh African Design concepts and each unit has been curated to honor ancient African Angels and spiritual themes adopted from my personal experiences and knowledge.
